Caitlin Damiano

PTA, LAT, ATC
Workers’ Compensation Specialist, Physical Therapist Assistant

Raised in Peckville, I graduated from Valley View High School in 2008. Post-college graduation, I took an ATC position with PT Associates, where I provided athletic training services for the Old Forge School District. After giving up AT services with the company, I transitioned into a full-time outpatient PTA with my husband before I relocated to South Florida from 2019 to 2023. I worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant and clinic Manager at CORA Physical Therapy in Stuart, FL. We returned to the Scranton area in 2023 after the birth of our son to be closer to family and friends.

I graduated from Marywood University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. I returned to school in 2014 for an Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant from Johnson College.

My main core values are:

  • Family is crucial
  • Innovation- Pushing past the status quo with new and progressive ideas
  • Compassion- Demonstrating empathy and understanding for the experiences, feelings, and needs of others, offering support and care when needed.
  • Balance- Maintaining a healthy equilibrium between various aspects of one’s life, including work, family, social commitments, and personal well-being.

“There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.” – Beverly Stills

I do pretty much two things here at PT Associates
1. Conservative Outpatient Physical Therapy—focused on increasing strength, decreasing pain and symptoms, restoring job-specific abilities and promoting a safe return to work.
2. Work-specific Work Hardening/Work Conditioning/Physical Re-Conditioning supervised program that restores systematic neurological, musculoskeletal, and aerobic condition through exercises and activities that simulate or include actual job functions. Conditions I enjoy treating are all orthopedic conditions, pediatrics, and vestibular/balance issues.

I wish I could decrease the financial responsibility insurance companies hold patients responsible for, so patients were able to get any and all healthcare access specific to their needs without being burdened with the radical cost that comes with necessary health-care services.

PT Associates provides a family-oriented work environment while staying up to date with and providing our patients with the most current outpatient PT services available.

Patient Testimonials

I just wanted to share what a great experience I had going for my therapy, Caitlin , Taylor and Melissa went above and beyond to get me ready to go back to work , they always kept things moving forward and change things up all the time to continue challenging me. Now I’m ready to go back to work, confident, and physically ready to do my job without any concerns. Megan also was absolutely wonderful answering any questions I had and was very accommodating figuring out a schedule that accommodated me. thank you very much all of you for your kindness and support .
